TOURIST PLACES ALONG SIDE NH-21

Jarol : Jarol is 165 Kms from Chandigarh and tourist visiting Kullu and Manali take a break for relaxing in the HPMC Campus at Jarol. Jarol is also famous for growing of Mangoes. Various products like Juices, pickles, Cider are manufactured sold by HPMC here. A park has also been developed for providing resting place to the tourists. Tourist stopping here can cook foods by themselves for which a kitchen has been constructed on the one corner of the park.

Pandoh Dam : Pandoh Dam is situated 17 Kms from Mandi town towards Manali. The dam on river Beas was completed in the year 1977. A beautiful lake has been formed due to construction of the dam.

Hanogi Mata Temple : Hanogi Mata Temple is situated on NH-21, 27 Kms from Mandi towards Kullu. It is an important religious place where all the persons halt to pray to Hanogi Mata for safe journey. Another temple of Mata Durga is also situated there on the other side of the river Beas where one can  go by taking a  Boat. A ropeway has also been constructed there to cross the river. A big water fall is on the across the river Beas exist near Hanogi mata temple.

 Jhiri Nature Park : A park named Nature Park is developed at Jhiri on the border of Mandi and Kullu District on the bank of Beas river. It is a beautiful tourist place being frequented by tourists for taking rest during the journey and for enjoying the scenic beauty of the spot. This is the end point for river rafting which starts from Kullu District. The park have boarding and lodging facilities & a restaurant.
