NIC Himachal Pradesh has been conferred with the prestigious m-Governance Initiative of the Year Award 2024 (15th National Digital Transformation Awards 2024) for School Safety Mobile App for Government of Himachal Pradesh. The awards ceremony was organized by the GovConnect at Vivanta Taj, Guwahati on 13 December, 2024. Shri Sandeep Sood (Senior Director IT) and Shri Sanjay Kumar (Director IT) received the award on behalf of National Informatics Centre, Himachal Pradesh.

Grievance Appellate Committee MIS developed by National Informatics Centre, Himachal Pradesh was awarded the Gems of Digital India Award 2024 (Analyst’s Choice) during the 5th Gems of Digital India Awards ceremony organized by the Coeus Age at The Claridges Hotel, New Delhi on 26th July 2024. Shri Sandeep Sood Senior Director (IT), Shri Sanjay Kumar Senior Director (IT), Shri Sanjay Kumar Director (IT), Shri Mangal Singh Joint Director (IT) and Shri Ashish Sharma Joint Director (IT) were present to receive the award on behalf of National Informatics Centre, Himachal Pradesh at the felicitation ceremony.

Grievance Appellate Committee MIS has been developed by NIC Himachal Pradesh for MeitY as a complete appeal flow starting from filing of appeal against any Intermediary by the Digital Nagrik to it resolution by the Intermediary. GAC is set up as per provisions made under Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 [“IT Rules”], which are made under the Information Technology Act, 2000.

The School Safety MIS and Mobile App are developed by NIC Himachal Pradesh for State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA). The objective of this solution is to help more than 18K schools of Himachal Pradesh in preparing the Disaster Management Plans every year. These plans are part of preparedness to handle the situation in case of any natural disaster. Every school has to prepare this plan and also record the mock drills carried out in the schools to aware the students about any natural disaster.

NIC Himachal Pradesh Won Four Awards in online Poster Competition organised by National Informatics Centre, during Vigilance Awareness Week (30th October to 05th November) 2023. NIC officers and associated NIC FMS staff participated in the competition throughout India. 7 winners were declared in the competition result and out of 7 winners 4 are from NIC HP.
